Patricia Ruth Auger (McGary)

Patricia Ruth (McGary) Auger, 88, of East Hartford, beloved wife of the late Frank Auger, entered into eternal peace on Saturday (April 23, 2011) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Tyrone, PA on November 22, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John Arnold and Clair Elizabeth (Brenner) McGary and had lived in East Hartford for many years. Pat's life was devoted to her ""family"" children, grandchildren, and friends. She loved family gatherings, celebrating in our joys and comforting our sorrows. Patricia is survived by her two sons, Frank Auger and his wife Joanne (Grybowicz) of Andover and John McGary of East Hartford; her three cherished grandchildren, Michael F. Auger of East Hartford, Mandi L. Auger of Manchester and Michele N. Auger of Cromwell, and by her loyal companion, Dusty. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kim M. Auger. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday (April 28, 2011) at 10 a.m. in St. Maurice Church, 32 Hebron Road, Bolton. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford.
