Patricia A. Meyers (Guida)

Patricia A. (Guida) Meyers, 64, of Glastonbury, passed away peacefully on Monday (March 19, 2012) with family by her side at her home. Born in Hartford on January 15, 1948, a daughter of the late Patrick and Viola (Lippo) Guida, she had been a resident of Glastonbury since 1977. Prior to her retirement, Patricia worked 17 years at the Glastonbury Public Schools. A talented photographer, she was known to always have a camera with her. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing Bingo. Patricia is survived by her three sons, James Meyers, Jr. of West Hartford, Nicholas Meyers and his wife, Anna, of Bolton, David Meyers of Glastonbury; seven grandchildren, Jody, Joshua, Alicia, Katelynn, Cole, Nolan, and Ella. She also leaves two brothers, Antonio ""Tony"" Guida and his wife, Linda, in California, Patrick Guida and his wife, Nella, of Portland; two sisters, Anna Stone and her husband, Thomas, of Deltona, FL, Mary Jane Rivera of Middletown; several dear nieces, nephews, and friends. Patricia was predeceased by her sister, Regina Valdez of Middletown.

Memorial services will be Friday (March 23) with a celebration of Patricia's life at 6:30 p.m. at the D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
