Patricia "Gram" Rodegher

Born in Hartford on July 8, 1942, Pat was the daughter of the late Edward Damm and Catherine (Wonsik) Tajer. She was a proud graduate of Hartford Public High School, Class of 1960. Shortly after graduation, she settled in East Hartford, where she raised her family and built a life rooted in love and devotion.

Prior to her retirement, Pat worked as a legal assistant at the Law Offices of Howard Lee Schiff in East Hartford.

Pat found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially being near the water. She cherished family trips to Rye Beach, New Hampshire, and Cape Cod, Massachusetts—places that brought her peace and lasting memories. Her greatest pride and joy was her family; she lived through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always putting them first.

Pat is survived by her five cherished children; Karen Andreo and her husband John of South Windsor, John Rodegher and his wife Barbara of Andover, Gary Rodegher and his wife Lori of Hebron, Lynn Rodegher (Mom’s beloved caretaker) of East Hartford, and Christine Rodegher and her wife Kellie of East Hartford. Her twelve adored grandchildren; Johnny Andreo, Jennifer Andreo, Nicholas Andreo, Christie Morelli and her husband Steve, Jacalyn Andreo, Kyle Rodegher, Celia Couture and her husband Hayden, Evan Rodegher, Zachary Rodegher and his fiancée Alesandra Milardo, Haley Rodegher, Christian Rodegher, and Sawyer Rodegher. Three treasured great-grandchildren Lily, Evie, and Beckham. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Miranda of Agawam, MA; her former husband, Oreste Rodegher; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In honor of Pat’s wishes, services will be kept private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pat’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford has been entrusted with the care of the arrangements.
