

Paul Daniel Height, 30, of South Glastonbury, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Tuesday, (August 21, 2012) at his home. Born in Hartford on August 9, 1982, a beloved son of Kenneth P. and Debra (Ladue) Height, he had resided in South Glastonbury for most of his life. Paul enjoyed playing many sports in his youth and was a member of the soccer team, golf team, and state champion ice hockey team at Glastonbury High School, where he was a graduate of the Class of 2002. After graduating high school, Paul attended the University of Arizona. A talented and avid golfer, Paul was a member of the Glastonbury Hills Country Club. He loved playing Fantasy Football, listening to music, and following the New York Yankees. Most of all, Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and his close friends. Paul is survived by his loving parents, Ken and Debra Height of South Glastonbury with whom he made his home; his beloved brother, Eric P. Height of South Glastonbury; his devoted aunts and uncles, Donna and Ron Wilson of Manchester, Dennis and Diane Chase of New Britain, David and Laurie Ladue of Bradenton, FL, Joan Height of Manchester, Alan and Nancy Height of Higganum, Roger and Susan Height of Bloomfield; many dear cousins and friends. Paul was predeceased by his loving grandparents, Leo and Natalie Ladue of East Hartford, Dan and Irene Height of East Hartford.
Funeral services will be Monday (August 27th) with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Road, South Glastonbury. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery, South Glastonbury. (Paul's family asks that everyone please go directly to the church on Monday morning). Private calling hours for Paul's family will be held on Sunday (August 26th). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Paul's name may be made to a favorite charity of the donor's choice .
