
Paula M. Howe, 80, of East Hartford, passed away Wednesday, (February 16, 2011) after a long illness, with her family at her side. She was born in Hartford on June 2, 1930, daughter of the late Paul and Florence (Ratigan) Magnificent and had resided in the Hartford area her entire life. She was retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and was a volunteer for many years at the Glastonbury Historical Society. She is survived by two sons, Gary L. Howe, of Cape Coral, FL, Scott D. Howe, of Wethersfield; two daughters, Linda Howe Muscaro of Glastonbury, Sharie Tamiso of Manchester; and 11 grandchildren, Jennie Howe of Florida, David Howe of North Carolina, Alexander Howe of Utah, Jennifer Howe of Vernon, Gregory Howe of Coventry, Aubrey Muscaro of Hebron, Andrew Muscaro of Wethersfield, Daniel Muscaro of Stamford, Cara Tamiso, Allison Tamiso and Leanna Tamiso of Manchester; and four beloved great-grandchildren, Amber, Sabrina, Zackary and Logan. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (February 19) at 10:30 a.m. at D'Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford. Calling hours will be Friday, (February 18) from 4:30–7 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
