Phyllis "BooBoo" M. Frazier

Phyllis M. “Boo Boo” (Rattell) Frazier, 85, of East Hartford, loving wife of 48 years of the late Carol “Curly” Frazier, went to join her husband and infant son in heaven on Friday, October 31, 2025 at her home. Born in Hartford on January 4, 1940, a daughter of the late George and Helen (French) Rattell, she had been a resident of East Hartford since 1992. She was a proud home maker who took great pride in her home, both inside and outside where she maintained beautiful flower gardens.

Phyllis loved playing bingo, visiting area casinos, and going camping annually at Highland Campground in Scotland, CT. She was a lover of dogs, and adored Elvis Presley, listening to his music all the time. Most of all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren.

Phyllis is survived by her caring daughter, Helen M. Duperry of East Hartford with whom she made her home; four sons, Christopher L. Frazier of East Hartford, also with whom she made her home, Carol Frazier, III, Scott A. Frazier, and Mark M. Frazier, all of Stafford Springs; She also leaves a brother, Joseph J. Rattell of Vernon; a sister, Judy Sutherland of Mansfield; fourteen special grandchildren; five adored great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Along with her beloved husband and parents, Phyllis was predeceased by an infant son, Carol Frazier, Jr.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 11:30 am at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Burial will follow at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, (Section 19-St. Justin), Bloomfield. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday morning from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
