Ralph Kenneth Johnson

Ralph Kenneth Johnson, 66, of East Hartford, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 23, 2026 at his home. Born in Hartford on October 21, 1959, a son of Theresia (Kasczikowski) Johnson and the late Lawrence E. Johnson, he had been a lifelong resident of East Hartford. Prior to his retirement, Ralph worked his entire career in the printing business in the Hartford area. He liked watching football and was a loyal fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. He also enjoyed reading, especially the dictionary daily. Most of all, he was a proud father, brother, and uncle.

Ralph is survived by his daughter, Danielle K. Johnson of East Hartford; his mother Theresia of Vernon; his brother, Steven C. Johnson and his wife Denise of Ellington; his two sisters, Loretta Pilagin and her husband Alexander of Vernon, Linda Ceruzzi and her husband William of Portsmouth, NH; his granddaughter, Ellie Ku; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Private funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. The D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford has been entrusted with the care of the funeral arrangements.
