Richard Hastings Neale

Richard Hastings Neale, 63, of East Hartford died Sunday, (March 22, 2009) in Hartford. Born in Waterbury, son of the late George and Lois (Wheeler) Neale, Rich lived in Florida for many years prior to moving to East Hartford ten years ago. He was a 1965 graduate of Glastonbury High School and worked in the aerospace industry for many years. Richard was an avid record collector, loved music and antique cars. Rich is survived by three loving children: a son, Thomas Neale and his wife, Melanie of Tolland; two daughters, Karen Cain and her husband Kevin of Milton, VT and Deborah Young and her husband Christopher of Coventry; mother of his children, Joanne (Patterson) Carter of Hudson, FL; two sisters, Susan Cappello and her husband Charles, of Manchester and Pamela Cote and her husband Romeo of St. David, ME as well as five cherished grandchildren, Alexis, Nicholas, Austin, Madison, and Makayla. Graveside funeral service will be Thursday, March 26, at 11 a.m. at East Cemetery, 240 East Center St., Manchester. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the D'Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford.
