I was just talking about Bob this week and how I had such a crush on him. I was 5 or 6 and he was about 18. I remember him being a bit feisty and getting pulled over by the cops and them saying, “what is your name?” Him saying, “Bob Hope” and any new cop in town would say “Yeah, and I’m Jackie Gleason!” Prayers and condolences to all his friends and family. Rest In Peace my friend.💔

To the Hope family,

I was saddened to see that Bob has passed away. Over the years I would frequently see him along Main Street in East Hartford and we would say hello to each other.
