Robert ""Bobo"" Perron, 74, of East Hartford, loving husband to Patricia (Marquis) Perron for over 44 years, peacefully passed away at home on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 surrounded by his caring family and friends. Bob was born February 25, 1937 in Hartford, and has lived in East Hartford for the past 44 years. His summers were spent camping at Hammonnasset Beach and most recently at Witch Meadow Campground, with many of his closest friends. Sunday mornings during the spring and summer you could find Bobo golfing with his son-in-law, Luis (who Bobo considered the son he never had) and his closest golfing buddies, and other nights you could find him bowling at South Windsor Ten Pin or Silver Lane AMF. In recent years, you could always be sure that ""Pepere"" would be on the sidelines of his grandchildren's numerous activities as their number one fan. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Raymond and Roger Perron, and a sister, Lucille Ricci. Along with his beloved wife, Patricia, he is also survived by his daughter, Robin Perron of Greensboro, NC, daughter Tracy and her husband Luis Gonzalez of East Hartford; 4 adored grandchildren, Sierra, Olivia, Luis Jr, and Julian Gonzalez, his special 4 legged companion, Keesha; as well as many very special lifelong friends.
