Sorry to hear of Bobs passing.Always will be remembered for his kindness for others.will be in my prayers.

I am truly sorry for your sudden loss. I am a highland park customer l will never forget the time I wore a light house shirt into the store. Bobs face lit up l, and he told me all about his love of light houses. We spoke awhile about it, and every time I went in there after. A truly remarkable kind and understand man.

I had the biggest blessing in life in knowing Bob. I started working at highland in 2017 and I remember my coworker Kevin telling me when Bob was on vacation that week “I can’t wait for you to meet Bob”. I have so many good and funny memories with Bob that I’ll truly treasure forever. I love him so much and work is not the same without him. I miss hearing his voice first thing in the morning and his laugh the most. It’s funny that after all these years of knowing him that he could never say my name and would always call me “Ami”. Every holiday ( Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc) Bob would buy my daughter( his granddaughter) a sweet treat. I had the best 30th birthday last year when Bob surprised me with a cake and a gift. I miss him so much and I still can’t believe that I’ll never see him again. I wish I held him a little bit tighter but I hope Bob is looking down at us and happy. I love you so much Bob . Rest in peace dear!

My deepest sympathies to Bobs family. I knew him for many years of shopping at HPM. He always had a smile and the occasional joke. It was a genuine pleasure to be served by him! I am sure he will be greatly missed by all of his customers.

I am saddened to learn of Robert’s passing and I am sending my condolences to his family and coworkers.  I will miss Robert calling my number at the deli at HPM as I knew I would get a perfect order and a smile!  He was a kind soul who will be missed by many!  Rest in Peace and may your transition be glorious!

Bob was a staple at HPM-I remember when I was a kid Bob always handing me a slice of boars head or LOL cheese  my parents would be ordering to make sure the thickness was perfect. Bob was always so kind and always had a smile on his face.  He will be missed- HPM won’t be the same without him.  Wishing you all peace and many fond memories.

Bob was so friendly and helpful, always a smile and a can-do attitude! He will be greatly missed.

I have had the pleasure of seeing Bob almost every week for the last 40 years. He made going to the grocery store something to look forward to. Each week we always had  great conversations. The deli will never be the same and I am broken hearted that Bob has been taken so soon. Please accept my deepest sympathies to his family and all those at Highland.  He will be missed.

I’ve had the privilege of being Bob’s co-worker for a brief amount of time. The day I started working with him he introduced himself to me as the “grumpy old man” of the deli. However over the several months I shared with Bob, I found out in haste that it was entirely the opposite. He was a compassionate, hardworking and an all round wonderful person. I was extremely impressed and inspired to work by Bob, witnessing his punctuality and his display of resilience as he worked the longest hours out of everyone there. All in all, I am just one more out of the hundreds of people who have been bestowed a smile by Bob, and I shall keep him in my memory always.

I have known Bob for most of my life. First as his customer. My Dad and Grandma shopped there often, and would always wait for Bob to take care of them. He always had a slice of cheese ready for me!! 
I also had the pleasure to work with Bob for the last 3 years. I remember being excited to be able to work with him when I first started. He was much more of a character than I thought!! He was so special to us all. He was so kind to his coworkers, often giving us gifts, or goodies. Always willing to help someone out, he would return to work hours after his shift, to give rides to those without a car. 
He will always be in our minds and hearts, and will be missed immensely.

Bob was a good man. A gentle soul. I worked with him at HPM in Coventry for several years. Of course it was his part time job away from his full time job at the HPM in Manchester. Bob was the best deli man ever. Always kind and gracious. I will miss seeing him behind the counter very much! I send my condolences.

I didn' know Robert personally but he waited on me many times at Highland Park.   I will never forget the time he corrected me when I asked for 3 bean salad.... with a smile He replied  mamm we only have 4 bean salad.  I would always look for Robert if I needed anything special at the deli.    Such a pleasant man.  My condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.
