

Robert L. “Bob” Procaccini, 71, of Manchester, unexpectedly entered into eternal life on Monday, January 27, 2025 at his home. Born in Hartford on February 28, 1953, a son of the late Michael M. and Mary (DeFelice) Procaccini, he had been a resident of Manchester for over the past 35 years, Bob attended schools in Hartford including Bulkeley High School before attending a trade school. He was a dedicated hardworking employee for 40 years at Highland Park Market in Manchester, where he especially enjoyed working in the Deli area. Throughout his working career, he never missed a day away from work. A hockey fan, he was a former season ticket holder of the Hartford Whalers. A true gentleman, Bob was a devoted brother and uncle who truly liked taking care of others.
Bob is survived by a brother, Michael E. Procaccini and his wife Patty of Newington; a sister, Louise Alexander and her husband Barry of South Windsor; three nieces, Maxine Procaccini (goddaughter) of Newington, Michelle Douglass and her husband Scott of Westbrook, Maine, Lynn Alexander of South Windsor; three great-nephews, Donovan Torbicki, Maxwell Douglass, Logan Douglass; several cousins, friends, and co-workers. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a niece, Patti Torbicki of Newington.
Funeral service will be Saturday (February 8th) at 10:30 am at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel with Pastor Joel Rissinger officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, (Section P), Bloomfield. Bob’s family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday morning (February 8th) from 9 am – 10:30 am at the funeral home chapel.
