Roseann (Gagliardi) Stenger

Roseann (Gagliardi) Stenger, 87, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 7, 2018. Born in Manchester on April 10, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary (Farrana) Gagliardi. Roseann was a lifelong resident of East Hartford. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary Church and a former member of the Democratic Town Committee. A loving mother and grandmother, she will be forever missed by her two sons, Peter Stenger of East Hartford and Larry Stenger and his girlfriend Brenda Mazzarella of East Hartford; and her adored granddaughter, Sara Rose Stenger.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday (January 12th) at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of the North American Martyrs Parish, Main Street/Maplewood Avenue, East Hartford. (Everyone is asked by the family to please go directly to the church on Friday morning). Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, (Section F), Burnside Avenue, East Hartford. Relatives and friends may call at the D’ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford on Thursday (January 11th).
