Sarah Lecaros

Sarah Therese (Petig) Lecaros, 28, passed away on Wednesday April 20th, 2022. She is survived by her husband, Yerico Lecaros, her son, Antonio Lecaros, her parents Lester and LeeAnn Petig, her brothers Richard Kennedy and his wife Amanda, Kevin Kennedy and his wife Rachael, William Petig, and sister Jaime Kennedy-Tinti. She was also the proud aunt to Helena and Nicholas Wilson, Aiden Kennedy, Julia Tinti, Scarlett Farmer, Jeramyah and Lathan Kennedy.

Sarah was many things. She was kind, caring, quick to lend a hand whenever she could. Most of all though, Sarah was life. She was the light in any room she walked into. She was loud in the best of ways. Her laugh was infectious and her smile was contagious. Sarah had a gift for getting people to come out of their shells (and there was no hiding from her). She loved playing games and family gatherings always had at least one game going. Sarah was hilarious and if someone was around her for 5 minutes she would have them laughing. She loved being outdoors and was always up for a hike or a walk. She was an avid animal lover. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She loved the beach and loved going to clubs.

When Antonio was born, he became the light of her life. She was so proud of him and loved every moment she spent with him. She often brought him to parks, read him books, and watched the same kids movies over and over again.

She will be greatly and forever missed by all those who knew and loved her.

A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 4-7pm at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford. Visitation will conclude with a Prayer Service at 6:45pm. Burial services will be private. For detailed obituary, please visit desopoeh.com.
