

Scott D. Megquier, 44, of East Hartford, loving husband of 21 years of Debra Noel Megquier, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his caring family on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 after a brief illness. Born in Hartford on October 14, 1971, he resided in South Windsor for many years prior to moving to East Hartford 18 years ago. Scott was a graduate of Howell Cheney Technical High School in Manchester, Class of 1989. He was employed by Winslow Automation, New Britain, as an Inspector.
Scott loved all sports, and gave back to the youth in East Hartford as a coach, board of director, and umpire for East Harford Little League. He was a die-hard Hartford Whalers fan, and a member of the Whalers Booster Club. He was also a fan of the New York Yankees, Dallas Cowboys and of UCONN football. Most of all Scott was a proud and devoted father who supported his three cherished children at all their activities, school events and sporting events.
Besides his beloved wife, Scott is survived by his three children, Kacey Noel Megquier, Alexander Joseph Megquier, and Maryn Mae Megquier, all at home in East Hartford; His mother, Maria Camarco and her husband Clyde Ogburn of South Windsor; his step-mother Lynn Megquier of Coventry; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Carol (Pilius) Noel of East Hartford; a brother Vincent Trigilio and his wife Paula of Coventry; a sister, Angela Cichon and her husband Jared of Columbia; his good friend and brother-in-law William “Bill” Noel of East Hartford; He also leaves a great uncle Reno “Uncle Charlie” Camarco of Wethersfield; a great aunt Santa Camarco of Windsor Locks; three nephews and a niece, Anthony Cichon, Owen Cichon, Vincent Anthony Trigilio III and Paisley Trigilio; several cousins, other relatives and many dear friends. Scott was predeceased by his father Donald L. Megquier; his maternal grandparents, Rido and Lois (Parrish) Camarco of Newington; and two uncles, Douglas and Raymond Camarco.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday (September 27, 2016) at 10:30 a.m. at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Burial will follow at Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. Scott’s family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home chapel on Monday (September 26, 2016) from 3-7pm.
