Stephen "Steve" Wilson

Stephen “Steve” Wilson, 75, of East Hartford, peacefully passed away at his home with his sister Carole Wilson by his side after a long battle with cancer. Steve was born on December 27, 1950, and was a lifelong resident of East Hartford.

After high school, Steve was appointed into the United States Air Force Academy and was a proud veteran.

Steve was a stained and leaded glass craftsman and the proud owner and creator of Evets Glass Works, Glastonbury for over 50 years.

Steve was known for being a soft spoken and private gentle soul and will be remembered by his great sense of humor by his close group of cherished friends.

He is survived by his son Jesse Wilson and his wife Alexandra of Manchester and his two adored grandchildren Emmaline Wilson and Amelia Wilson. His sister Carole Wilson of Murrells Inlet, SC and his brother Jim Wilson of East Hartford.

Steve is predeceased by his brother Tom Wilson.

In honor of Steve’s wishes, there will be no services. The D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford has been entrusted with the care of the funeral arrangements.
