Steven “Steve” Alexander Barrieau, 34, of Bolton, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Born on May 11, 1989, he was the son of Richard and Lori (Schruder) Barrieau. He was a graduate of Bolton High School and then went on to work as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry.
Steve would spend his free time in the outdoors going from fishing, to hunting, to paintballing. He had also accomplished earning his second degree in Taekwondo with a double black belt.
Along with his parents, Steve is survived by his brother Chris Barrieau, his sister Haley Barrieau and her husband Ryan Couch. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 at 6 pm at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Steve’s family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 4 - 6pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Steve’s name may be made to an organization of your choice.
