Sylvester S. Faust, 65, of East Hartford, beloved husband for 32 years of Lygia (Hicks) Faust, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Sunday, November 27, 2016. Born in Baltimore, MD on May 28, 1951, he was the son of Jenning and the late Ida Mae (Whaller) Faust. Sylvester worked for The Hartford for many years. In addition to his wife, he will be dearly missed by his sons, Sylvester Faust, Jr. and his wife Ruby of Hartford and Terrell Dwayne of South Windsor; four adorable grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence; four sisters, Minister Rhonda Davis, Tanya, Vicky and Carla, as well as many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his brother, Anthony and sister, Joyce.
