

Victor Manuel Morales Rivera, 66, of East Hartford, loving husband of Idelsa (Cable) Morales, entered into eternal life unexpectedly on Friday, January 23, 2015. Born in San Lorenzo, province of Morovis, Puerto Rico on June 15, 1948, a son of the late Bautista and Romona (Rivera) Morales, he had been a resident of East Hartford for the past 45 years. Prior to his retirement in April of 2013, Victor was employed for 38 years by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, East Hartford as a painter. Victor enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. He also loved cars and listening to country music (specifically Johnny Cash).
Besides his beloved wife, Victor is survived by four sons, Juan Morales and his fiancée, Cinthia Ortiz, of East Hartford, Rodney Morales of Cromwell, Luke Morales and his fiancée, Rebekah Thibodeau, of East Hartford, Joel Morales of East Hartford; a daughter, Vanessa Morales of East Hartford; three cherished grandchildren, Kevin, Jessie, and Layla Morales. He also leaves three brothers, Alonzo Morales of Saginaw, MI, Ruben Morales of Boston, MA, Oscar Morales of Boston, MA; two sisters, Anna Morales of New Britain, Carmine Morales of Boston, MA; several nieces, nephews, former co-workers, and dear friends.
Funeral service will be Saturday (January 31st) at 11 am at the D’ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Burial will follow at Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford.
