

Vincent Peter Vallario, Sr., 98, loving husband of the late Josephine (Capobianco) Vallario, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Born on August 17, 1927, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Clapis) Vallario. Vincent graduated from Bulkeley High School, class of 1945. He was a long-time resident of East Hartford, prior to moving to Glastonbury.
Prior to retirement, Vincent was a military veteran and employed for over 30 years by Emhart Manufacturing Company (Black and Decker) in Windsor as a foreman. Outside of work, he was an avid golfer and 10-pin bowler who participated in several golf leagues at East Hartford Golf Club and Silver Lane Bowling Alley. He also enjoyed traveling throughout the world with his wife.
Vincent is survived by his loving children: Marc Vallario of Glen Allen, Virginia; Vincent Vallario Jr. and his wife, Sandra, of East Hampton; and Lynn Vallario of Almont, Michigan. He is also survived by his five cherished grandsons: Peter Vallario and his wife Sara, Jason Vallario and his wife Stephanie, Tyler Vallario and his wife Jenn, David Vallario and his wife Megan, and Matt Vallario and his wife Caitlin, as well as eight adored great-grandchildren. He also leaves his brother John Vallario of Vero Beach, Florida, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Besides his parents, Vincent is predeceased by his wife of 71 years Josephine (Capobianco) Vallario.
Funeral services for Vincent will be kept private and held at the convenience of the family. The D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford has been entrusted with the care of the arrangements.
