

Alfredo “Fred” Ibarra a lifetime resident of El Paso, and a 1960 Burges High School Graduate passed away on July 13,2016 at the age of 74. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy, and was proud to be an American. Fred was preceded in death by his parents Teodoro and Genoveva Ibarra, sister Esperanza, and brother Ted. In 1982 he lost his youngest daughter Missy and mourned her the rest of his life. He is survived, by his childhood sweetheart, Evelia. Along with his daughters, Dolores and Evelyn, son in law Eddie, and the love of his life, his precious granddaughter Melissa Dionne Flores. Siblings, Yolanda (Isaac), Willie (Gracie), and Bobby (Betsy), as well as several nieces, and nephews: brothers, and sisters in law, Gustavo, Mague, Mike, and Manuel Sr. and compadre Roy Salome. Fred the best mechanic in town was in the automobile business all of his life.

Visitation: Sunday, July 17,2016 at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Avenue, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.: Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass: Monday, July 18,2016, St. Raphael Parish, 2301 Zanzibar at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
