She is survived by her husband Miguel Angel Cornejo, Daughters Julia Alicia cornejo and Brenda Carmen Hernandez (cornejo) son in law Johnny Hernandez, 3 grandchildren Lorenzo Miguel Barron, Mia-Angelina Guadalupe Barron, Jazmine Rae Hernandez, and her great-granddaughter Analeia Marie Barron. She leaves behind her eldest sister Teresa Martinez-Lopez, her brother Rafael Martinez Jr. and nephew Rafael Martinez III.
Alicia was a proud graduate of Bowie High School class of '75. Alicia was a loving wife who dedicated her life to her husband of 54 years, a caring mother to her 2 daughters and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. She was affectionately known as grandma to those who knew and loved her.
Alicia will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her, may we all carry her memories in our hearts.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, August, 12, 2026 at 11:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 602 S Oregon St, El Paso, Texas 79901 with committal to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, Texas 79906.
