Alicia Bernardita Medina

With heavy hearts and unshakable faith, we announce the passing of Alicia B. Medina, who entered eternal rest on June 18, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her most.

Alicia was a devoted and loving mother to Crystal Zuniga, Chris Julian Medina, Aaron Centeno, and Adam Medina. Her children were her greatest pride, and she poured her love, wisdom, and strength into each of them. She instilled in them a deep love for the Lord and always held them to the highest standard when it came to walking in faith and serving others.

Alicia’s relationship with her mother, Alicia C. Medina, was like that of any loving mother and daughter—filled with its share of differences and challenges, but always rooted in love. Through every season, her mother stood by her side and came through for her, reflecting the unbreakable bond between them.

She is also survived by her sisters, Grace Medina, Guadalupe Medina, and Elizabeth Medina. Like many sisters, they had their ups and downs, but their love always brought them back together.

Alicia was the world’s best grandmother. Her love was boundless for her grandchildren:
Azenath, Johannan, Allyson, Jonathan, and Kalia, as well as Stephanie, Gabriel, RayVon, Avery, Amayah, and Sky, whom she embraced as her own. She also leaves behind her precious great-grandson, Kai. They all brought her endless joy.

She had a unique and special relationship with each of her nieces and nephews—Agustín, Delmy, Steve, Luis Alberto, Elias, and David. They all knew they could come to her with anything, and Alicia never said no. Her door and heart were always open, and her love for them was personal and unwavering.

Alicia’s love and support extended far beyond the role of mother-in-law. Her bond with her son-in-law, Francisco Zuniga—who lovingly called her Nana, the endless conversations with Bethanie, and Kalia’s mother, Lacey, was deeply familial. They often reached out to her, and Alicia always guided them with biblical wisdom, Godly advice, and unwavering spiritual support, embracing them fully as family.

Alicia lived with a servant’s heart. She gave selflessly, often putting the needs of others before her own—even when she had little to give. Her generosity extended through her health challenges; she continued to love, to give, and to show up for others no matter what.

She is also remembered and deeply loved by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who shared in her life and love. Though too many to name individually, each held a special place in Alicia’s heart and in the hearts of her family.

But above all, Alicia put God first—always. Even when it didn’t make sense to anyone else, she trusted Him fully. Her decisions, her joy, and her sacrifices were all rooted in that unshakable faith. She didn’t just talk about God—she lived for Him.

Her legacy will forever shine through the lives she touched, the love she gave, and the faith she demonstrated so boldly. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find peace knowing she is now home with our Savior, wrapped in eternal love.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 30, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 6:30pm at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 9:00 am at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley, 4900 McNutt Road, Santa Teresa, New Mexico.

En Memoria Amorosa de Alicia B. Medina

Con el corazón lleno de tristeza pero con una fe inquebrantable, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Alicia B. Medina, quien descansó en la presencia del Señor el 18 de junio de 2025, rodeada del amor de quienes más la querían.

Alicia fue una madre dedicada y amorosa para Crystal Zuniga, Chris Julian Medina, Aaron Centeno y Adam Medina. Sus hijos fueron su mayor orgullo, y en cada uno de ellos dejó sembrados su amor, su sabiduría y su fortaleza. Les inculcó un profundo amor por el Señor y siempre los motivó a caminar en fe y a servir a los demás con todo su corazón.

Su relación con su madre, Alicia C. Medina, fue como la de cualquier madre e hija amorosas: con sus diferencias y retos, pero siempre cimentada en el amor. En cada etapa, su madre estuvo a su lado, demostrando el lazo irrompible entre ambas.

También le sobreviven sus hermanas: Grace Medina, Guadalupe Medina y Elizabeth Medina. Como suele pasar entre hermanas, compartieron altibajos, pero su amor siempre las volvió a unir.

Alicia fue la mejor abuela del mundo. Su amor no tenía límites por sus nietos: Azenath, Johannan, Allyson, Jonathan y Kalia, así como Stephanie, Gabriel, RayVon, Avery, Amayah y Sky, a quienes abrazó como propios. También deja a su precioso bisnieto, Kai, quien le regaló alegrías infinitas.

Tuvo una relación única y especial con cada uno de sus sobrinos: Agustín, Delmy, Steve, Luis Alberto, Elías y David. Todos sabían que podían acudir a ella para lo que fuera, y Alicia jamás les decía que no. Su puerta y su corazón siempre estuvieron abiertos; su amor por ellos era personal y firme.

El amor y apoyo de Alicia iba mucho más allá del papel de suegra. Su vínculo con su yerno, Francisco Zuniga —quien de cariño la llamaba Nana—, sus interminables charlas con Bethanie y la cercanía con Lacey, mamá de Kalia, eran lazos de familia que ella fortalecía con consejos sabios, palabras basadas en la Biblia y una fe inquebrantable. Siempre los abrazó como parte de su familia.

Alicia vivió con un corazón de sierva. Siempre daba sin esperar nada a cambio, poniendo las necesidades de otros antes que las suyas, incluso cuando tenía poco para dar. Aun con sus problemas de salud, siguió amando, ayudando y estando presente para todos.

También la recuerdan y la aman profundamente sus tías, tíos, sobrinos, sobrinas, primos y muchos otros familiares que compartieron su vida y su amor. Aunque son demasiados para mencionarlos uno por uno, cada uno tenía un lugar especial en el corazón de Alicia y en el de su familia.

Pero por encima de todo, Alicia puso a Dios primero 🙏 siempre. Aunque a veces otros no lo entendieran, ella confiaba plenamente en Él. Sus decisiones, su alegría y sus sacrificios nacían de esa fe firme. No solo hablaba de Dios, vivía para Él.

Su legado brillará para siempre en cada vida que tocó, en el amor que entregó y en la fe que vivió con tanto valor. Aunque nuestros corazones duelen por su ausencia, encontramos consuelo sabiendo que ya está en casa con nuestro Salvador, envuelta en amor eterno.

Visitación se llevará a cabo el lunes 30 de junio de 2025 de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. con un servicio de oración a las 6:30 p.m. en Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903. El servicio funeral se llevará a cabo el martes 1 de julio de 2025 a las 9:00 a. m. en Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903, con entierro posterior en Memory Gardens of the Valley, 4900 McNutt Road, Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
