Alicia M. Romero (Chicky)

Alicia M. Romero (Chicky) beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, age 81, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. Alicia was a long life resident of El Paso, Texas. Alicia is preceded in death by her husband Santiago Romero, brothers Jose Morales, Efrain Morales, Alfredo Morales and sister Lydia Quintana. She is survived by her children, Santiago Jr. (Mary Lou), Norma Ponzio (Sam), Martha Romero, Antonio Romero and Albert Romero (Esther); 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; and sister Irene Plaza. Visitation will be Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 5-9pm with a vigil service at 7p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave. Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, October 3, 2016 at 1p.m. at San Antonio Catholic Church, 503 Hunter Dr. Pallbearers will be Miguel Romero, Marco Romero, Antonio Romero Jr., Albert Romero Jr., Sam Ponzio Jr., and Thomas Duke. Honorary Pallbearers will be Andres Romero, Ernesto Ponzio, Ray Romero, and Tomas Beltran. Rite of Committal will be at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery following the mass. Services under the direction of Martin Funeral Home Central.
