Angel was born on September 1, 1952 in El Paso, Texas. He graduated from Burges High School and was later employed with the Texas State Supported Living Center where he retired after 25 years of dedicated service. Angel was also a member of Abundant Living Faith since 1980.
He will be long remembered as being the life of the party with his boisterous and contagious laugh—especially with his spot-on imitations of Rodney Dangerfield and Steve Martin. He enjoyed all kinds of sports, and a faithful fan of the Chicago Cubs, the Blackhawks and the UTEP Miners.
Angel was co-owner of a discotheque in El Paso for many years—enjoyed dancing, music, running, and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Alicia and Angel Ruiz and his wife of over 30 years, Yolanda Ruiz.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.evergreenfheast.com for the Ruiz family.
