Annie Valenzuela passed away on March 9 at the age of 98. Wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was surrounded by her loving family and was eager to see her departed husband Ernie again. Afflicted by dementia, she was strong and independent to the end in that unique way everyone loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters and husband, Ernie Valenzuela. She is succeeded by her daughter, Olga Mattson, son, David Valenzuela and daughter, Yolanda Martinez. Also, Christine Holguin, Dano Holguin, Fred Mattson, Dolores Valenzuela, Louie Martinez and Danny Holguin.
Visitation will be from 5 - 9 PM and the prayer service will be at 6:30 PM on March 14 at F.D.A. Martin Funeral Home Central. Graveside service will be March 15 at 10:30 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
