To the family, I love the amazing woman named Anna Murillo ❤️.  I'm  just finding out that she had passed away. I worked with Anna at the Wounded Warrior Transition Battalion. She was the greatest person with a heart of gold. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer I was so devastated.  After speaking with Anna I was able to move past the tears and crying into a determined  woman that could fight hard to heal. Anna gave me that courage and I am forever grateful for her love and support ❤️ I am heartbroken because  I left the Battalion some years ago and had to bury my 13 year old granddaughter who was murdered.  That murder consumed me. During that time I remembered the words of Anna when she helped me to fight to heal, and so I applied those words to the loss of my grandchild.  I will forever love her and I will forever miss her. Anna loved her family and was a great nurse to the soldiers of the Warrior Transition Battalion. I know when you  think of Anna I can almost bet you remember her smiling. Thank ypu family for sharing Anna with me

Gabby, I ran across a 10 year old email today from you.  In which I wanted to reach out and I’m saddened to  find you’d passed, my condolences to your family. Thank you for saving my life all those years ago all of our sessions helped me. The WTU was a terrible place, for me your amazing outtake on life and situations really helped get through to me considering the mess I was back then.  I survived thanks to you. My prayers to your family. Thanks for everything.

To Kenny, Johnny, Allyssa and the entire family, my deepest condolences. You are in my thoughts and prayers.  Gaby, you were my dear friend. You were one of the first people I met when I started working at Warrior Transition Battalion. You were there with open arms and ready to share your wealth of knowledge with me. I will never forget the love and devotion you gave to your patients, your co -workers and your friends. You were such a good friend to me when I was in need and out sick. I will never forget how you selflessly,  took it upon yourself to clean and organized my office and got it ready for me to return to work after others left it a disaster. You were so kind and thoughtful. It touched my heart.  I will always remember you for that.  I still remember our fun times at the bowling alley and all of our shinnanigans with Pat. I miss you everyday at work. I miss you everyday. Your smile lit up our world. You are in my heart . Rest in peace dear one.

I am so sorry for you all. It shocked me when I heard about her passing. My sympathy goes out to all of you! It's a sad day for me.

Gabby was the perfect example of love and grace.  She influenced a lot of lives when she taught the 11 year old girls at Church.  Her
constant love and concern for them and everyone she knew  always impressed me.  I am grateful for all of the visits we had together. I will never forget her.   She was and is a kind, beautiful lady who made a difference in this world.  She will be greatly missed.

I will never forget working with Gabby in the ICU at Beaumont. She was so smart, sweet, kind to me.  Not only was she my colleague but she was my friend. She welcomed me into her home , introduced me to her family and have stayed in touch with me thru out the years. I will miss her so much and I am sadden by her passing. 

I will never forget the wonderful lunches we shared at Mendoza Clinic.  I later found out that you graduated with my brother at Eastwood High  School. Thank you for the great conversations and advice you gave me . God Bless you Gabby and my deepest Condolences to your Family and Friends .

We first met almost 20 years ago - I think it was at Thomason - and then we worked together for several years at the WBAMC ICU. You were always so kind, smart and quick to lend a hand when someone needed help. More recently, we ran into each other at the nurse case manager meetings and you were still the bright beautiful nurse I had always known. I will always remember you driving that huge truck! I also remember how much you talked about your family and how much they meant to you, especially your kids and my heart breaks for them, but I was there were you saved so many people's lives and I know that you earned your place in Heaven many years ago. My prayers to you and your family. 

I will miss you Gabby. You were such a lady,  your big smile and welcoming hugs everytime we saw each other. I am so sadden I will not see you again. But, previous lady I will celebrate your life and now you will eternally live in Our Lord's loving arms. 

So heart breaking to hear the news my heart goes out to your family, you were a strong, kind hearted soul and beautiful inside and out. Rest In Peace and know you were loved by so many and still are!

My neighborhood is sad because our beautiful friend Gabby has left this world today. Many years sharing the important events in each of our lives, beautiful and sad moments. She is now forever gone and we all feel this loss. Gaby, you were a gentle an beautiful presence, a wise and smart lady, a person striving for excellence in the exercise of your profession as a nurse, and as a mother, wife and daughter. We, your neighbors and friends, cannot completely accept that you are gone. I imagine how hard it is for your husband, your son and daughter, your mother and sister...but also for the many you have rescued from death along your life. With all compasion and sadness for the pain you had to suffer, we need to accept that we could no longer keep you among us. Lovingly and sad, we need to say Good Bye, beautiful soul!

Gabby was my Angel on earth besides being my big sister she was also one of my best friends. We could share our deepest fears, thoughts, experiences, heartaches and joys. Always knowing that we would never judge we would be a shoulder to cry on and feel the love we have for one another.

Ken, my heart feels like it’s breaking. Gabby and I met on our 1st day of work at the WTB.  We stuck together after that.  We were sharing a computer: how’s that for making us so close. I will always, always have her in my heart. Love you all. God bless. My deepest heart felt condolences.

To my beloved sister, I remember the first time I met you.  We worked together in the ER and by the end of the first year you were with us you were one of us (no simple task!).  I had no idea at the time that we would come to share such a deep bond.  You were always honest and loving, with a wicked sense of humor.   I have very few close friends and you were one of them.  It was easy to love you.  You truly were a force of nature - strong, formidable, yet cleansing and inspiring.  Our long talks about God, country, work, love, and family taught me many things about being a woman, mother and friend.    My heart is heavy and I will miss you every day; yet I smile at the memories we created together and I can still hear your laughter as if you are sitting next to me.   Put in a good word for me with God.  He’ll listen to you.
