In the fields and through the seasons, Benigno built a career in agriculture with BJR Hay LLC and R Farms FLP, LTD. Those who knew him understood that his hard work was never simply a task, but a way of honoring responsibility. In his honesty there was a calm clarity, and in his wisdom a grounded steadiness that others could lean on—an example that inspired not by spectacle, but by consistency.
On December 27, 1971, Benigno married Maria R. Correa Garcia. Benigno is survived by his children Elizabeth Garcia, Mario Garcia, Sarah Garcia, Jaime Garcia and Monica Garcia; his grandchildren Marisa Tristan, Adam Tristan, Kaylin Chenoweth, Julian Chenoweth, Victoria Chenoweth, Mia Garcia, Amaya Garcia, Anissa Garcia, Daniella Garcia, Mario Garcia, Alexander Garcia; and his siblings Jose Garcia, Margarita Garcia, Lalo Garcia, Jorge Garcia, Ana Galindo, Luis Garcia, Socorro Garcia, Lucy Garcia.
