Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, BETTY JO SHEPPARD born Oct. 29, 1929 in Prescott, AR, went to her eternal home Nov. 14, 2018 in El Paso, TX. Preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Homer William Sheppard, in 1995.
Her life was anchored in a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ and the love and nurture of her family. She was the church pianist and taught Sunday School at Sunrise Baptist Church and supported her husband as office manager for ABC Sprinkler for 38 years.
Betty is survived by her two sons, William Alan Sheppard (wife Debbie), Phillip Brian Sheppard (wife Debbie), and daughter, Sandra Kay Arrigo (husband Don); grandchildren, Cassie Jo Sheppard, Jennifer Driewer (husband Jon), Wesley Abbott; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Abbott and Abigail Driewer; nephew, Tom Robinson, niece Cathe Robinson and niece Debbie Herrera (husband Rojo).
Preceded in death by her parents Hursell and Irma Wingfield of Gallup, NM; grandparents S. Blanche Clark and Thomas A. Wingfield of Gurdon, AR; brother, Tom Wingfield (Porgie) of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Patsy Robinson (Robbie) of Las Vegas, NV.
Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and caregivers, Patricia Gonzales and Espy Galvan, who with love, compassion, and endless sacrifice helped Betty thru this final journey.
