Blanca Margarita “Mague” Duran, 72, entered her eternal rest on August 27, 2013. Mague, as she was known by all, was born December 9, 1940, in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico and lived most of her life in El Paso, Texas. She was never one to be the center of attention, and was always looking out for others before herself in her own special ways, like labeling her gifts from Niñito Jesus on Christmas Day, playing Las Mañanitas for everyone on their birthday, and treating everyone to her wonderful meals, which will be sorely missed. Her greatest treasure was her family. She is survived by Rafael Duran , her loving husband of 48 years; her children Sylvia, Rafael, Susana Jimenez (Jesus), Adrian (Haydee), Oscar (Becky) and Ruben (Evanett); her thirteen grandchildren - Krystal, Michael, Jackie, Andrew, Joshua, Samantha, Clarissa, Julian, Victoria, Oscar, Nico, Ruben & Diego - who she showered with love and personally cared for at one point or another. She is also survived by siblings Antonio and Miguel Marquez, Ana Maria Landa, and several nieces and nephews who she personally cared for as if they were her own. Visitation will be Sunday, September 1, 2013, from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Central 3839 Montana Ave. Funeral Mass Monday, September 2, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
