It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carmen P. Femat on February 27, 2026, at the age of 93. Carmen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a lifelong resident of El Paso and a member of the Catholic Church. She was active in numerous social organizations including The Lanceros Club as well as volunteering for many Knights of Columbus events of which her predeceased husband, Roberto Femat was an active member. Her life was a blessing to us all, filled with love, kindness, generosity, and grace. Although she is no longer with us, her memory we will always embrace.
She is survived by her sons Bob Femat and Ruben Femat and her daughters Selma Morales and Ruth Femat. In addition, she is survived by 11 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Femat, Jason Femat, Ruben Femat Jr., Mark Femat, Albert Campos, and Jordan Morales.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a vigil at 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday March 11, 2026 at 9:30 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N Clark Dr, El Paso, Texas 79905; with committal to follow in Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, Texas 79906.
