Carmen Rogers

April 6, 1954- January 1, 2016

Carmen Rogers passed away peacefully in her sleep after a courageous fight against cancer the morning of January 1st. Carmen was a lifelong resident of El Paso. She attended El Paso High School.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Manuel Nevarez, Brother Richard Nevarez, Sister Isabel Truster, nephew Rodrigo Alexander and the love of her life Ron (Ronald) Rogers.

She is survived by her daughter Melissa Munoz, son Matthew Rogers (Maegan) and grandchildren, Jordan, Olivia, and Alexander. She is also survived by her Mother, Julieta Nevarez, sisters Leticia Andrade (Rodrigo), Armida Martinez, (Ed Soltero), Brother Victor Nevarez (Rosie) and sister in law, Lisa Smith-Nevarez. She also leaves behind nieces, Christina, Rebecca, Alezandra, Allyssa, Bernadette, Jennifer and Briana and nephew Eric.

Special thanks to the staffs at Providence Hospital, and Sierra Medical Center for the loving care that they provided during her final days. Special thanks to Dr. Zening He for his care during her fight.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 11:00am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, where she will rejoin her husband Ron.
