Carmen is survived by her brother Jesus Miguel Herrera, sons Robert Westhoff and Edward Westhoff, step son William Westhoff and step daughter Letty Westhoff, grand daughter Valerie Westhoff, her husband Gabriel Martinez, great grandchildren Mila Mosar, Ash Martinez, Aya Martinez, and Mesa Martinez.
Carmen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Family was very important to her and devoted most of her time engaging in activities that promoted the family unit. Vacations ranked high on her list. She made sure that every minute was lived to the fullest for her and her family, and that memories would last a lifetime. Carmen was also a devout Catholic through Our Lady of the Light church. She spent many years helping the church through her charity work and contributions.
Visitation will be from from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 13, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of The Light Catholic Church, 4700 Delta Dr, El Paso, Texas 79905, with a committal to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave., El Paso, Texas 79906.
