Beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, Carol G. Torres, 87, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. Carol was born in Tehachapi, California on May 21, 1938, to Jesus U. Garcia and Elsie Williams. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Andrea Elsie Caviness, Yolanda Panich, Judith Ann Rodriguez, and Arnold Torres. Carol is also survived by her grandchildren, Christopher Panich, Carol Panich, Jeremy Panich, Matthew Burrus, and Ryan Burrus, her great-granddaughter, Rhiannon Burrus, and her brothers, Arnold Garcia, Vidal Garcia, and Edmund Garcia. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a Chapel Service at 12 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 12400 Montana Ave, 79938. Rite of Committal will follow at Evergreen Cemetery East.
