Catalina (Serrano) Romero

Catalina Serrano Romero, 91, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018. Mrs. Romero was a lifelong resident of El Paso and was preceded in death by her loving husband Alberto Romero and daughter Beatrice Escandon. She is survived by their children, son Richard Romero (Adele Frost Romero), daughters Maria Teresa Dawood and Cecilia Al-Fahad, their grandchildren Monica and Leo Escandon, Alia Al-Fahad, Alexandra and Stephen Romero, great-granddaughter- Karmann Escandon, and sole surviving sister Cruz Guillen. She was formerly employed by Woolworth’s for 25 years. Visitation will be held from 5pm to 9pm, Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Martin Funeral Home Central with a 6pm vigil. Funeral Mass will be held 9:45 am, Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
