Christina Jo Cuccaro

Christina Jo Cuccaro, 61, of El Paso, Texas, passed away on July 26, 2026. Born on February 13, 1965, in Augusberg, Germany, Christina carried her beginnings with her—an enduring sense of where she came from, and a steady grace in how she moved through the world. She was deeply beloved, and her presence will be missed in ways both spoken and quietly felt.

Christina graduated from Burges High School. In the years that followed, she became known for the kind of hard work that doesn’t ask for attention, only for the chance to be useful and to do things well. She worked in the food industry for Wienerschnitzel, Whataburger, and Village Inn, bringing patience to the everyday rhythms of service—meeting people where they were, moment by moment, with a calm steadiness that made ordinary days easier for those around her.

Away from work, Christina’s loyalty and joy found a familiar home in the teams she loved. She had a passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins, and in that devotion there was something unmistakably her: faithful, enduring, and full of heart—able to celebrate, to hope, and to keep showing up season after season.

Christina is survived by her sister Gigi Cuccaro and brother Joe Cuccaro.

Services will be held on August 3, 2026, beginning with Visitation at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East Funeral Home, Angel, 12400 East Montana, El Paso, Texas 79938, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. A Vigil will follow at the same location at 10:30 am. Mass will be held at Saint Mark Catholic Church, 11700 Pebble Hills Blvd, El Paso, Texas 79936, at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery East, 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79938, at 1:30 pm.
