Consuelo Gomez

Consuelo T. Gomez, 102, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026. She was preceded in death by her siblings; parents, Isaac Lopez and Blas Torres; son-in-law Miguel Bernal; and the love of her life, her husband of 74 years Enrique Gomez. She is survived by her three daughters, Martha Gomez, Irene G. Bernal, and Enriqueta Gomez. Grandchildren Victoria Gomez, and Chief Petty Officer Benjamin M. Bernal. Great Grandson Troy Lawrence Alba. She is also survived by her sister Maria Sanchez as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a vigil at 10:30 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Central , 3839 Montana Ave. el Paso, Texas 79903; with the funeral mass to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3729 Hueco Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903. Committal will be held after at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, Texas 79906.
