Craig is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Pam Christianson, who was his constant companion and source of strength throughout their journey together. He leaves behind his loving children, Jodi Christianson, and Thomas Christianson (Bonnie), of El Paso, TX, sister, Lori Kalamitsiotis (Denny), of St. Louis, MO and extended family.
Craig's professional journey spanned over 30 years in the automobile industry, where he dedicated his talents to companies like Chrysler Corporation and Yazaki North America. His dedication and expertise were greatly respected by his colleagues.
Upon retiring in 2012, Craig embraced life with vigor. His passion for golf led him to become an active member of the Golfweek Amateur Tour, where he formed lasting bonds with fellow enthusiasts. A true sports aficionado, Craig never missed an opportunity to cheer on his beloved teams, the Green Bay Packers, St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and Wisconsin Badgers.
Craig will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth, laughter, and unwavering love will forever echo in our hearts, ensuring that his memory lives on.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to support pancreatic cancer research. Craig battled this formidable adversary with courage and grace, and contributions in his memory will help further the fight against this devastating disease.
“In accordance with Craig’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral or service. Instead, his family invites those who knew and loved him to join them in paying their respects at his inurnment on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 11:00 AM. The inurnment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery East, 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX, 79938. Following this, a small catered reception will be held at 11:30 AM, providing an opportunity to chat, reminisce, and share memories with family and friends.”
