Daniel Flores, 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by family members on December 31, 2017. Daniel was born on September 13, 1925. He was retired from Phelps Dodge Refinery. He was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Heladia P. Flores. He is survived by his daughter, Maria Irma Molina (Eduardo); sons, Gerardo Flores (Susana) and Jesus D. Flores (Eva); grandchildren Elza Alvidrez (Gilbert), Lisa Molina, Veronica M. Esqueda (Ruben) and Daniel D. Flores; great grandchildren Gilbert Alvidrez Jr., Leslie Alvidrez, Jazmine Frias, Adam Esqueda, David Esqueda and Eric Esqueda. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 7th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Avenue with Vigil beginning at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 8th at 9:00 am at Santo Nino de Atocha Catholic Church, 210 S. Clark. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with military honors.
