Delia V. Hernandez

Delia V. Hernandez, 86, passed away on October 28, 2016 in El Paso, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born on October 4, 1930 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Anita & Enrique Vega. Delia was a loving wife, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy and was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, dancing and collecting recipes, not necessarily cooking them. She was co-owner of Office Machines Inc. from 1959-2012. She is survived by her husband, Jesus E. Hernandez, her children, Joe (Sharon), Danny (Monica), Henry (Grace), Jimmy (Lisa), and Victor (Jodi). Grand children , Angela Geske, Melissa Marsh, Jessica Valdez, Michelle Valdez, Gabrielle Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, Matthew Hernandez, Bryan Hernandez, Morgan Hernandez, Derek Hernandez, Katie Martinez. Great grandchildren, Josephine Marsh, Andrew Geske, Madelyn Hernandez, Emelia Martinez and Vivianne Martinez. Siblings, Corrine Watson, Herman Vega, Eddie Vega and Bertha Barragan. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 1st from 5:00-9:00pm at Martin Funeral Home Central with a vigil at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 9:15am Wednesday November 2nd with internment at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Delia V. Hernandez to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1315 Travis St., El Paso, Texas 79903.
