Sincerest condolences to Carolyn, Cheryl, Joey and all of the family.  I will miss Aunty Di dearly.  Thank you for sharing her with us. We are all so much richer for knowing her and for having her in our lives. 

My Thanks to Aunty:  

When we were young, after my Dad’s death, thank you in providing a safe haven to my Mom, a young widow with two small children, when she needed family and we needed a safe place to lay our heads.  For being a constant in Warren's and my life as the years rolled by and we celebrated milestones, endless celebrations, and camping trips galore with so much tamasha and laughter. So many wonderful family get-togethers. So cherished now and so missed. Thank you Aunty, for all the phone time, calls filled with shared anguish and grief as we reeled from the shock of my Mom's unexpected death.  For crying with me, in joined pain and heartbreak, trying to find a way to keep moving forward. Today is May 15 Aunty, the date of her passing.

Aunty Di was a nurturing mother and grandmother, a gentle and caring human being.  She gave in many ways, but she gave of her TIME freely, which is the most precious gift one can give. Her kindness is what I will remember most of all.  I will fondly think of her every time I make a cup of tea, I will think of her when I spot a tin of biscuits, I will think of her when I catch sight of Nic Nacs, Capodimonte collectibles, and English Toby jugs. I will remember her giggles when relaying to me the many shopping and lunch excursions with my Mom and Aunty Cedda. Uncle Horace always the patient and loving chauffeur for the fun bunch.

Aunty, I know how much you missed Uncle Horace.  I'm wishing you are now together again. At peace in Heaven with our Lord, with Jesus.  I wish you happiness, laughter, sunshine, and lots and lots of tea parties at a table under a shade tree, with a flowing white tablecloth, with your sisters, Uncle Horace and all our loved ones.  I will miss you always Aunty Di and I Love You
