Dora Murguia

W ith a great sense of loss we announce the passing of our loving mother and grandmother Dora T. Murguia. She went peacefully to be with her husband and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 3, 2011. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family and friends. We loved her devotion & time spent as a caregiver to family members and this quality will be greatly missed. She was a baker at Lamar Elementary School and her traditional Christmas cookies were shared by all. We will do our best to keep her caring, loving and strong spirit alive in generations to come. She will always be in our thoughts and in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her husband Miguel Murguia. She is survived by her three daughters Irma (Gilbert) Vasquez, Martha (Carlos) Garcia, Laura (Federico) Renteria. Three grandchildren, Marissa Anchondo, Gilbert Michael Vasquez and Rudy Garcia, Seven great grandchildren; Amaris, Jaime and Eddie Anchondo, Dylan and Anna Vasquez, Alex and Ni colas Renteria. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2011 from 5:00-9:00pm at Martin Funeral Home Central with a 6:30pm vigil. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 12:00pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
