She was a lifelong educator teaching in El Paso and California Public Schools until her retirement. Continued teaching at EP Community college for several years, loved to travel and did so throughout USA, Europe, and middle East. Enjoyed going to casinos very much.
Predeceased by parents, Pedro and Carolina Trujillo. Sisters Amy Rueda, Helen Rueda, Adelina Rueda, Olga Hernandez, Carol Alba, and niece Rubina Rodriguez.
Survived by brother Pete Trujillo, Romi and sister Becky Dominguez, Louie and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Edelmira will be held Monday, October 30, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903, followed by a memorial service at 11:30 AM.
