Elsa Martha Rallis

Elsa Martha Rallis passed peacefully Monday, October 15, 2012 she was born April 3, 1928 in El Paso, Texas. Her parents were Max Weber and Gudelia Carpio. Elsa grew up in El Paso and graduated from Austin High School. She married John Rallis on July 12, 1948 and started life as an Army wife. They lived in Alaska and Puerto Rico and she provided a loving home for her husband and three children. John was a Major in the US. Army and preceded her in death. She is survived by her three children Elsa Gray (John), Gina Lang (Bill), John Rallis Jr., (Veronica). Four grandchildren Jennifer Baca, John U. Gray (Holly), Daniel Payne (Catherine), and Alex Gray, one Great grandson Isaac Toro and her brother Max Weber (Sandra), also brother-in-law Gus Rallis (Valli) and sister-in-law Helen Downing, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends. Elsa was an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and School. She provided afterschool care for the children of the parish. She was a member of the Christ Child Society. She also was a loving pet owner. Elsa will be missed by many. Visitation will be 5pm to 9pm Thursday, October 18, 2012 with a 6pm vigil. Funeral mass will be held 1:15pm Friday, October 19, 2012 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
