Elsie Carrasco

Elsie Carrasco, age 83, passed away on April 11, 2026. Born April 14, 1942, in Shafter, Texas, Elsie’s life was marked by a steady devotion to those she loved and a quiet strength expressed through everyday generosity and kindness. She resided in El Paso, Texas.

Throughout her working life, Elsie built a respected career in accounting with Smart and Final Accounting Services, bringing care and diligence to her responsibilities and offering a dependable presence to those around her.

Beyond her professional life, Elsie found joy in reading, and her love of music remained a constant companion. She also carried an adventurous spirit that was fulfilled through traveling—an enduring reflection of her openness to the world and the simple, meaningful pleasures it offered.

Elsie is survived by her daughter Leah (Trent) and leaves behind her grandchildren Robin and Brett. Left behind to cherish her memory are her siblings Manuel, Rosa, Carmen, Bernie, Eva, and numerous nieces and nephews. Elsie was beloved and cherished, remembered with gratitude for the warmth she shared so freely and the gentle, kind-hearted way she moved through life.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East Funeral Home & Cemetery, 12400 East Montana, El Paso, Texas 79938, on April 18, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
