She is survived by her loving husband Arturo Carbajal of San Elizario, TX, her four children Arturo Carbajal, Jr. of Dallas TX, Richard Martin Carbajal and his wife Catherine of Fort Worth, TX, Mario Javier Carbajal and his wife Niki of Prosper, TX, and Sylvia Ann Munoz and her husband David of El Paso, TX. She is also survived by her brother Agustin Contreras, Jr. of Denver, CO, half-brother Antonio Salas of Alamosa, CO and half-sister Maria de Jesus (Jesusita) Torres of El Paso, TX plus nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Emilia graduated from Lydia Patterson Institute and worked at Farah Manufacturing until she retired in 1992 at the age of 56.
She was a very kind, loving woman with a beautiful soul who will be greatly missed by every heart she touched - a true saint on this earth.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel (Martin Funeral) Central 3839 Montana on December 27, 2018 from 5pm to 9pm with vigil at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church on December 28, 2018 at 8:15am. Inurnment to follow at 9:30am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. in El Paso, TX.
