Enrique Jacquez Jr., (Tio Chato) a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather, was called home to be with our Lord on September 3, 2024. Born in El Paso, Texas, on February 24, 1934, Enrique lived a life full of love, wisdom, and cherished moments.
Enrique is deeply mourned by his loving family, including his wife of 70 years, Isabel Valtier Jacquez, whose devotion was a source of strength and comfort. He leaves behind his children, Enrique Jacquez III (Socorro), Maria Fernandez (Onfre), Gabriel Jacquez, Graciela Martinez, and Leticia Melendez (Fred). His legacy extends through his 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of his generous spirit and enduring kindness.
Enrique was preceded in death by his father Enrique Jacquez Sr., his mother Aniceta Jacquez, and his brothers Jesus Jacquez and Alejandro Jacquez. Though his physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit remains alive in the hearts of those who loved him and were touched by his warmth.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Three Oaks Hospice for their unwavering compassion, care and support during this difficult time. Their kindness was a great comfort to Enrique and his loved ones.
As we say goodbye to Enrique, we remember his joyous declaration, "Viva la Bowie," a phrase that reflected his vibrant personality and deep connection to his roots. His memory will forever be cherished, and his legacy of love and family will continue to inspire all who knew him.
