Enriqueta Moreno

Enriqueta Moreno was embraced by The Lord on Saturday, June 24th, while praying. She was 91. She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico and came to El Paso in 1956 with her family in the proud tradition of immigrants. Trained as a seamstress, her most precious vocation was her dedication to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her prayers to the Virgen de Guadalupe were always answered.

Enriqueta is survived by her husband Manuel. Enriqueta and Manuel held hands for seventy-two years. They were blessed with three children: Manuel Moreno, Jr., Rosa Elliott and Enrique Moreno. The grandchildren are: Priscilla Marks, Manuel Moreno, III, Oswaldo Diaz, Adrian Moreno, Sasha Moreno, Danielle Moreno, Enrique Moreno, Jr. The Great-Grandchildren are: Alex Marks, Jason Marks, Olivia Diaz.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama, followed by the internment at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
