Epifanio Nicolas Rivas

He served in the United States Army and upon discharge worked at Phelps Dodge Copper Refinery for 38 years.

Epi is preceded in death by his parents, Prisciliano and Norberta Rivas, brother Ignacio Rivas and his great-grandson Greyson Zarur.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Elvira, his children Liz (Hector) Marrufo, Mike (Liz) Rivas and Irma (Victor) Zarur, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brother Ruben Rivas, sisters, Rosa Aguirre and Gracia Ureno.

The family would like to thank Hospice of El Paso, with special thanks to Claudia Moreno RN and Eduardo Ramirez CNA, for the wonderful care they provided.

Visitation; Sunday July 11, 2021 from 6-8 pm, with a Rosary at 7pm at Funeraria del Angel Central located at 3839 Montana. Funeral Mass; Monday July 12, 2021 at 9 am, St. Paul Catholic Church, 7424 Mimosa Ave. Interment at 10:30 am, Ft. Bliss National Cemetery
