Esperanza Vega Zamora

On Friday, July 19, 2024 at 9:30 a.m., Our Lord Jesus Christ called to His presence our angel, Esperanza "Espy" Vega Zamora. She was one of four children born to the late Don Ramon Vega and Josefa Sanchez Vega. In time, Espy became the beloved wife of Serapio Zamora+. In addition to her parents and husband, Espy was also preceded in death by her siblings, Raul, Esther, Mela, Lolo, Mundo, Tacho, Nena and Goya. She is survived by daughter, Teresa Flores. Espy was a beloved grandmother to Tony and Mark; beloved great grandmother to Eric, Blairre, Adrian, Michael and Alyssa and beloved great-great grandmother to Kennedy, Carson, Bradley and Ryan. She is also survived by her siblings, Enrique and Angela. Espy was our family matriarch and will be sorely missed. We love you Espy! Visitation will be Thursday, August 1st, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with Vigil Service at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 12400 Montana Ave., 79938. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12 p.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, 11700 Pebble Hills Blvd., 79936. Rite of Committal will follow at Evergreen Cemetery East.

A las 9:30 a.m. el viernes 19 de julio de 2024, Dios llamó a su presencia a nuestro ángel Esperanza “Espy” Vega Zamora. Espy fue una de cuatro hijos de Don Ramón Vega y Josefa Sánchez Vega. Con el paso del tiempo, Espy se convirtió en la amada esposa de Serapio Zamora+. Así como sus padres y marido se le adelantaron, también se le adelantaron sus hermanos Raúl, Esther, Mela, Lolo, Mundo, Tacho, Nena y Goya. A Espy le sobrevive su hija Teresa Flores. Ella era la querida abuela de Tony y Mark; querida bisabuela de Eric, Blairre, Adrian, Michael, y Alyssa, y querida tatarabuela de Kennedy, Carson, Bradley, y Ryan. También le sobreviven sus hermanos, Enrique y Ángela. Espy fue nuestra matriarca familiar a la cual se le extrañara sumamente. ¡Te amamos Espy! La velación se llevará a cabo el jueves 1 de agosto de 2024 de las 8 a.m. a las 11:30 a.m. con el Santo Rosario a las 10 a.m. en Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen, 12400 Montana Ave., 79938. La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo el mismo jueves a las 12 p.m. en la Iglesia Católica de San Marcos, 11700 Pebble Hills Blvd., 79936 seguida por su inhumación en Evergreen Cemetery East.
