He had many health complications and battled them with courage and quiet dignity for his entire life. He leaves behind his wife, Miriam Gaytan and six children, Eli, Samara, Joseph, Benicio, Moira, Noah.
Fabian was born on July 16, 1976, in El Paso, Texas to the late Fabio Gomez and Christiane L. (Francfort) Gomez. He grew up with his parents and sister Bella in many countries: Germany, France, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Kuwait. He competed on the swim team in high school. He graduated from high school in Ramstein, Germany. At 18 Fabian moved back to El Paso and pursued his passion in culinary arts at EPCC.
Fabian loved being outdoors and was a sports enthusiast. He enjoyed the desert and fishing with family and friends. Gila Cliff Dwellings and Hueco Tanks were his favorite places to go to be in touch with nature.
Fabian was a true friend to his friends. He loved to laugh and joke around with family and friends.
